Gen 2:2-3 Sabbath created or made the Seventh Day

Genesis 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Genesis 2:2 And on the seventh day Elohym ended his work which he had made; and he ceased (H7673) on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Genesis 2:3 And Elohym blessed (H1288) the seventh day, and sanctified (H6942) it: because that in it he had ceased (H7673) from all his work which Elohym created and made.

H7673 ?????? shabath (shaw-?ath')

v. to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.
{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}
[a primitive root]
KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep (sabbath), suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

H1288 ??????? barak (baw-rak') v. [a primitive root]

1. to kneel.

2. (implication, man toward God) to bless God as an act of adoration.

3. (implication, God toward man) to bless man as a benefit.

4. (by euphemism) to curse (God or the king, as treason).

H6942 ?????? qadash (kaw-dash' v. [a primitive root]

1. to be clean (ceremonially or morally).

2. (causatively) to make, pronounce or observe as clean (ceremonially or morally).

(V)  ?????? Q-DSh-Set apart: To set someone or something apart for a special purpose

The KJV and Strong's is written without any understanding, it is a Sunday document written by a Sunday worshipper, so the actual definitions of blessed and sanctified from the Hebrew are not correct.

The 7th day was 'made good for mankind' (blessed) and it was 'set apart' (sanctified/qadash) for that very special purpose, 'for man to have a day of rest from all his labours'.

Ex 16:22-24   Sabbath observed even before the giving of the Ten Commandments

Exodus 16: 22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two ers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
Exodus 16: 23 And he said unto them, This is that which YHWH has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the set apart (holy) Sabbath unto YHWH: bake that which you will bake to day, and seethe that you will seethe; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
Exodus 16: 24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.

Exod 16: 28-30 YHWH asks "How long will you refuse to keep my commandments"

Exodus 16: 27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none.
Exodus 16: 28 And YHWH said unto Moses, How long refuse you to keep my commandments and my laws?
Exodus 16: 29 See, for that YHWH has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
Exodus 16: 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

Even as today, the people heard the commandment but did not listen. Yahweh says to remember His set apart day for us to rest and to enter into that rest, but mankind will just not listen. Now in Ex 16:29 some will say you cannot even go out of your house on the Sabbath, but that was an added requirement for them BECAUSE they would not obey and not go looking for mana on the 7th Day.

YHWH said unto Moses BEFORE the 10 Commandments and the Book of the Law was given, How long refuse you to keep my commandments and my laws?

Ex 20:8-11  The 4th Commandments states to REMEMBER the Sabbath

The Sabbath Day was not created nor instituted with the 4th commandment, but confirmed as a set apart (holy) day and a day of rest

Exodus 20:8 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it set apart (holy).
Exodus 20:9 Six days shall you labor, and do all your work:
Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHWH your Elohym: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:
Exodus 20:11 For in six days YHWH made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHWH made good for man (blessed) the Sabbath day, and set it apart (hallowed it).

Isaiah 58:13 Lord calls the Sabbath "My Set Apart (Holy) Day"

Isaiah 58:12 And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places: you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
Isaiah 58:13 If you turn away your foot on the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my set apart (holy) day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the set apart (holy) of YHWH, honorable; and shall honor him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
Isaiah 58:14 Then shall you delight yourself in YHWH; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of YHWH has spoken it.

Mark 2:27 Sabbath "was made for man" the Sabbath Day was not just for the Jews, but for ALL men

Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:

As the creation of YHWH, YHWH set apart the 7th Day as a day of rest for mankind, it was set apart AFTER the creation was finished for man.

Mark 2:28 Yahusha Lord of the of the Sabbath Day. Yahusha again confirms the Sabbath Day

Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Master also of the Sabbath.

Yahusha does NOT abolish or change the Sabbath, But being the born of spirit and man, being the Son of Man and having preeminence over all things, he is also Master (lord) of the Sabbath.

Colossians 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Mark 7:6-8 Teaching for doctrines the commandments of men

Mark 7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well has Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Mark 7:7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Mark 7:8 For laying aside the commandment of YHWH, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things you do.
Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of YHWH, that you may keep your own tradition.

Matt 5:18 The Law or YHWH"s Law (10C) will not pass away till...

Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Yahusha came to fulfil the Law and the prophets that spoke of him, that is why he is called the 'word' as he literally was the written 'word' of the Scriptures that came to live among us. If even ONE jot or tittle of the Scripture Book of the Law of Moses and the Prophets were to change then Yahusha could not have fulfilled them. In order for Yahusha to be the "WORD" of YHWH, that word must remain unchanged. Also in order for Yahusha to be the perfect Lamb of YHWH, he has to OBEY the 10 Commandments and he did. Yahusha obeyed the 10 Commandments perfectly and fulfilled the Book of the Law which was the schoolmaster to teach us of the Messiah.

Matt 5:19 Warning against breaking one of the least of these Commandments

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

Yahusha warned against transgressing even the least of the commandments. IF the commandments were changed there would have been no need for Yahusha to warn against breaking them.

1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Sin is the transgression of the law, Yahusha came to clean us up and to free us from the bondage of sin, he did not come to save us 'IN' our sin, but to free us 'FROM' our bondage of sin so we can go and sin no more.

Luke 4:16 Yahusha kept every Sabbath Day as was His custom, why?

Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Because HE was obedient to the Father

Apostles kept the Sabbath Day

Acts 13:14 1 Sabbath

Acts 13:14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.

Acts 13:42 1 Sabbath Gentiles even asked for instruction on the next Sabbath

Acts 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath.

Acts 13:44 1 Sabbath

Acts 13:44 And the next Sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of YHWH.

Acts 16:12-13 1 Sabbath

Acts 16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
Acts 16:13 And on the Sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was wont to be made; and we sat down, and spoke unto the women which resorted thither.

Acts 17:1-2 Paul's custom

Acts 17:1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews:
Acts 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three Sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures,

It was the same with Paul as it was with Yahusha; it was his manner or custom to observe the Sabbath.

Acts 18:4 77 Sabbaths 1.5 years

Acts 18:1 After these things Paul departed from Athens, and came to Corinth;
Acts 18:2 And found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, lately come from Italy, with his wife Priscilla; (because that Claudius had commanded all Jews to depart from Rome:) and came unto them.
Acts 18:3 And because he was of the same craft, he abode with them, and wrought: for by their occupation they were tentmakers.
Acts 18:4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded the Jews and the Greeks.

Acts 18:11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of YHWH among them.

Not one single 1st day worship service. Not one single Sunday rest or Sunday Sabbath in the whole of Acts, BUT there is a record of 84 Sabbath Day observances.

Total 84 Sabbath Day observances recorded in Acts

Heb 4:9 There remains a Sabbath for the people of Yah

Hebrews 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And YHWH did rest the seventh day from all his works.
5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

Hebrews 4:9 There remains therefore a Sabbath to the people of YHWH.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as YHWH did from his.
11 Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

Sin is the transgression of the Law

1 John 3:4 Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

How we know that we LOVE

1 John 5:1 Whoever believes that Yahusha is the Messiah is born of YHWH: and every one that loves him that begat loves him also that is begotten of him.
2 By this we know that we love the children of YHWH, when we love YHWH, and keep his commandments.
3 For this is the love of YHWH, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
4 For whatsoever is born of YHWH overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcomes the world? He that believes that Yahusha is the Son of YHWH.

The truth will set you free, the truth that the 10 Commandments are still binding and that YHWH is the ONE and ONLY truth Elohim and Yahusha is His son. There is NO such thing as a trinity God or a modal God.

Who are they that overcome in Revelation?

Rev 12: 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of YHWH, and have the testimony of Yahusha the Messiah.

Rev14: 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of YHWH, and the faith of Yahusha.

Rev 22: Blessed are they that do his commandments that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Eccl 3:14 I know that, whatsoever YHWH does, it shall be forever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and YHWH does it, that men should fear before him.
Eccl 3:15 That which has been is now; and that which is to be has already been; and YHWH requires that which is past.

The 10 Commandments were binding and are still binding on ALL men, now and forever!
